New App to see your Core Web Vitals results

In recent years, web performance has become a crucial factor for the success of websites and online applications. Core Web Vitals, introduced by Google, has been a benchmark for measuring user experience on the web.

Today, we announce an App on deco.cx that allows you to bring up a complete report of Core Web Vitals.

What Are Core Web Vitals?

Core Web Vitals are a set of specific metrics that Google considers essential for the overall user experience on the web. They include aspects such as loading time, interactivity, and visual content stability.

In this app, you have access to charts that indicate the real user experience on your website.

Available reports:

- Overview - Core Web Vitals

- LCP - Largest Contentful Paint

- FID - First Input Delay

- CLS - Cumulative Layout Shift

- INP - Interaction to Next Paint

- FCP - First Contentful Paint

- TTFB - Time to First Byte

- FP - First Paint

- DCL - DOM Content Loaded

- OL - Onload

- Device Distribution

- Connection Distribution

All these reports present monthly results and have the option to filter between Phone, Desktop, and Tablet.

How to Use?

If you already use deco.cx:

1 - Update the version of the apps via repository (command deno task update)

2 - Find the "crux" app available in the list of apps

3 - Fill in the URL you want to access data from

4 - Click on Create/Install

Important

The functioning of the report depends on the site being on the CrUX dataset list.

Most sites that have a sufficient volume of data are on this list.
